It's a flame-resistant jacket liner with knit cuffs and some auxiliary buttons on the front to allow it to be worn by itself. I use it as a "Smoking Jacket" around the house. Unlike GI field jacket liner, it is flame-retardant, and far warmer-feeling. No idea if it will button-in to an M-65 Field jacket of appropriate size, but I reckon it might.
